Gnosi Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 7, 2026
Summary: Gnosi is a personal application for private use. All data is processed locally on the user's device. No data is transmitted to or stored on third-party servers other than the user's own (Google APIs, mail accounts, etc.) for authentication and access to their own data.

Who we are

Gnosi is a personal project maintained by Ismael Garcia Fernandez (ismigar@gmail.com). It is not a commercial service. It has no monetization.

What data Gnosi uses

With the user's explicit OAuth2 authorization, Gnosi may access the following data from the user's Google accounts:

Where data is stored

All data obtained via OAuth2 is stored exclusively on the user's local device (filesystem, local Vault). Gnosi never sends, shares, sells, or stores data on third-party servers, nor does it perform aggregate behavioral analysis.

OAuth2 tokens (access_token and refresh_token) are stored in the integrations.json file protected by the user's filesystem permissions.

How to delete your data

The user can revoke access at any time from Google Account permissions. The user can also delete the local Vault files and configuration.

Cookies and tracking

Gnosi does not use tracking cookies, analytics, or third-party services beyond the APIs explicitly authorized by the user.

Changes to this policy

If the policy changes, the updated version will appear at this same URL with the new date. The latest version is always authoritative.
