    Create a small research workspace, capture an idea and find it again. You can complete this journey without AI or an external account.

  • Workspaces, Vaults and sharing

    A workspace determines the people and permissions you work with. A Vault holds the knowledge files. Switching one can change the records and settings you see.

Research and knowledge

  • Create pages, links and attachments

    Use pages for your own ideas and keep the supporting material close to them. Gnosi stores knowledge in ordinary Markdown and YAML files.

  • Organize records and plan work

    A database groups tables. A table defines properties for page records; its views show the same records in different ways.

  • Explore links and create a genogram

    The knowledge graph shows links between your material. A genogram represents people and explicitly recorded family relationships.

  • Capture sources, read and cite

    Follow the research chain from a source to evidence and then to your own writing. Feed reading and reference management are separate features.

  • Ask questions about selected sources

    A notebook groups selected reference records so that you can ask questions grounded in their attachments and URLs.

  • Configure an agent and a model

    A model generates responses. An agent combines a model with instructions and assigned skills; tools let it perform specific actions.
